If enabled (see below), owners will receive an email with login credentials and instructions when their account is created in Lodgix. The login credentials will be their email address and a system generated password. The password is case sensitive.

Owner Login Issues

Owners can have difficulty logging in for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it is simply user error such as having CAPS lock on. They may have lost the email containing login instructions, or they may have tried and failed to reset their password.

If an owner is having difficulties, you can reset their password in one of two ways...

  1. Resend the owner's login credentials

  2. Manually change the owner's password

Resending Owner Login / Password

A listing of all property owners setup in your account can be found by clicking the Property Management menu item or clicking here: https://www.lodgix.com/app/owner/list/

Click the icon to resend login credentials to the owner. Note that this will generate a new password for the owner, it will not simply remind them of their existing password.

Manually Change the Owner's Password

When editing an owner's account, under the Details tab there is a field where a manual password can be entered. The field will always be blank, because all passwords are encrypted. You can enter a new password here, then send the owner an email manually with the login email and new password...
