How to send a quote to a potential guest

The terms Quote and Inquiry are used interchangeably within Lodgix. To send a quote to a guest, you will first create the quote in the system from the calendar tape, then send the quote to the guest via the Unified Inbox. This article explains how.

Create the Quote

To create the quote in Lodgix, navigate to the internal calendar tape to select the property and date range...

Enter the number of adults and children and click the Quote button...

Fill in the guest information (1) and Create Quote (2)...

You will now be redirected to the Unified Inbox where you can customize the quote and email it to the guest.

  1. Edit Quote: Click here to edit the details of the quote. You can edit the quote without leaving the Unified Inbox. An example of the edit quote modal is shown below.

  2. Reply Editor: Build your response to the guest using the visual editor. You can simply type out a response, or use the icons to add information such as images or saved replies.

  3. Saved Replies: This icon allows you to insert one of your saved replies into the response. An example of the interface is shown below.

  4. Send the response to the guest.

Conversation Thread

Your email to the guest will be displayed in the thread for that Conversation within the Unified Inbox.
