Manage your guest profile information

The Guest Profile screen allows you to manage your guests personal information, record notes about the guest, mark them as VIP or Blocklisted, and more.

  1. Guest email address and name. These are the only required fields for creating a guest.

  2. Guest Address and Phone number

  3. Notes. These are notes about the guest, not a specific reservation. They are for internal use only and the guest will never see them.

  4. Merge Guests. Allows you to merge multiple guest profiles. Explained in greater detail here.

  5. Guest Status. Mark a guest as either VIP or Blocklist. More details can be found here.

  6. Clear All Billing Info. This allows you to clear all saved billing data for a guest. See below for a full explanation.

Delete Guest Billing Data

When a guest updates their payment information, a new payment profile is created. Sometimes a repeat guest that stays year after year will update their payment profile many times. Some payment processors limit the number of payment profiles that a guest can have on file. For example, Authorize.net limits each guest profile to 10 payment profiles. If you ever receive a message that too many payment profiles exist for a guest, you can clear all of the existing payment profiles by clicking on the "Clear all Billing Info" button on the guest profile screen (see step 6 above)...

  1. Choose if want to delete the payment profiles from Authorize.net, or just clear them from Lodgix. Typically you will want to delete them from Authorize.net.

  2. Click Proceed
