Adding a reCAPTCHA field to your form can help prevent fake users from submitting requests on the inquiry form and it is highly recommended you take advantage of this field when using the inquiry form on your site.

The Lodgix Plugin currently uses v2 of reCAPTCHA and in order to use it you will need to follow the following steps to obtain your Site Key and Secret Key.

  1. Go to https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin/create
(you must be logged in to your google account)

  2. Click on the "+" in the top right to create a new site.

  3. To complete the form

    1. Add your site domain as the label

    2. Select the reCAPTCHA v2 option, followed by the "I'm not a robot" Checkbox option

    3. Add your domain to the domains list

    4. Add any owners that you would like to manage the captcha

    5. Accept googles terms.

  4. You will be taken to a screen that provides you with the needed keys. Copy and save both the Site and Secret key.

Once you have your captcha site and secret key you can then save it into your Lodgix WordPress settings by going to Properties > Lodgix Settings, then clicking the Inquiry tab. Copy and paste in your site and secret keys into their respective fields and then click Save All Changes.
