Reservations and Blocks - Lodgix Admin App

How to find reservations, create new ones, take payment, and add blocks.

Written by Bobby Wiles

This article covers managing reservations on the go: finding existing ones, creating new reservations, creating blocks, and taking payment. For deep details on a single reservation, see The Reservation Details.

Searching Reservations

Each row shows guest name, property, dates, and status. Tap to open the Control Panel.

  • Search icon — by guest name, email, or confirmation/invoice number

  • Filter icon — by status, type (reservations or blocks), property, or date range

To see blocks, set Type to Blocks in the filter sheet.

New Reservations

Start from the home screen's Create Reservation quick action, or tap arrival and departure days on the Calendar Tape.

  1. Guest — search an existing guest or fill in first name, last name, and a valid email. Tap Continue.

  2. Dates — tap Arrival, pick arrival and departure. Must be today or in the future.

  3. Property — the menu activates once dates are set.

  4. Quote — review the total. Tap Continue to go to the cart.

Taking Payments

The cart is your final review-and-pay screen. Stripe must be connected at lodgix.com for card payments. Without it, you can still book and collect payment later from the web.

Four payment options:

  • Confirmation Amount — charges the configured deposit

  • Total with Deposits — charges the full amount including deposits

  • Custom Amount — any amount from $0 up to the total

  • Continue without credit card — books now, collect later

To charge a card:

  1. Enter cardholder name, card number, expiration, CVC.

  2. Confirm the billing email.

  3. Tap Finish reservation.

The confirmation screen shows the confirmation number and whether the charge succeeded.

  • Saved cards from a guest's profile do not auto-charge here. Re-enter the card, or skip payment and charge from lodgix.com later.

To save a quote instead of booking, tap Create quote.

New Blocks

A block marks dates unavailable without a guest booking. Use for owner stays, maintenance, out-of-service, or holds.

Fill in property, arrival, departure, block type, and optional notes. Tap Save.
