Processing Payments - Lodgix Admin App

Use Stripe to securely process reservation payments from the Lodgix Admin App.

If your property uses Stripe as its payment gateway, you can now process payments directly from existing reservations within the Lodgix Admin App. This allows you to collect payments and manage guest balances from anywhere using your mobile device.

Requirements

To use this feature, your Lodgix account must:

  • Have Stripe configured as the property's payment gateway

  • Be using Lodgix Admin App version 2.1.0 or later

How to Process a Payment

  1. Open the Lodgix Admin App.

  2. Navigate to the reservation you want to manage.

  3. Tap Payments within the reservation and tap Process Payment.

  4. Add a new credit card or select an available payment method.

  5. Select or enter the payment amount.

  6. Submit the payment.

Once processed, the payment is recorded on the reservation and automatically applied to the guest's balance. On Lodgix.com, the transaction will include the note "Payment processed through the Lodgix Admin app." to indicate that the payment was collected using the mobile app.

Troubleshooting

I don't see the option to process payments

Verify that:

  • Your property is connected to Stripe.

  • You are using the latest version of the Lodgix Admin App.

  • Your user account has permission to manage reservations and payments.
