Two key workflows during a cleaning: filing a damage notice and completing the property's checklist. Both are available only while the task is In Progress.
Damage Notices
A damage notice is your record of broken, missing, or damaged items, with photos sent straight to the property manager.
Only one damage notice per task — put all issues on the same one.
Open the In Progress task from your Today list.
Scroll to the Damage Notice section.
First time only: allow camera access when prompted. If you denied it, use Account → Settings → Open Device Settings to fix.
Tap Create Damage Notice.
Tap Add Image and take a photo.
Add a caption (e.g., "Burn mark on dining chair seat").
Repeat for as many photos as needed.
Once you Submit the damage notice, the damage notice is locked.
Cleaning Checklists
If the property has a checklist (built on lodgix.com via Hosted Forms), it appears inside the task. The checklist must be finished before you can complete the cleaning.
Required items (marked with an asterisk or "Required") must be filled in. Optional items are skippable. When you're done, scroll to the bottom and tap Submit. The checklist closes and you can now Complete the task.
