There is an option with Lodgix to collect the guest name and age when a booking is made from your website. We've now added the ability to optionally collect additional guest email addresses as well.

NOTE: THIS FUNCTIONALITY WILL LARGELY ONLY BE USED WHEN THE INDIVIDUAL BOOKING THE RESERVATION IS NOT THE ACTUAL GUEST DURING THE STAY. PERHAPS THE RESERVATION IS BEING MADE BY AN ASSISTANT OR A TRAVEL AGENT. IN THOSE INSTANCES, IT CAN BE BENEFICIAL TO SEND RESERVATION DETAILS TO BOTH THE INDIVIDUAL WHO MADE THE BOOKING AND THE ACTUAL GUEST.

These settings are found within property setup for each property, under the Rates / Rules Tab > Rate Settings

Once enabled, ONLY FOR YOUR WEBSITE, the booking form will look like this:

Once the booking is complete, the guest name and email will be shown to you within the guest control panel. Likewise, if the individual making the reservation did not enter any additional guest details at the time of booking, these details could be added after the fact. It might also be the case of a manual phone booking where you need to manually enter the additional guest name and email.

How to communicate with the additional guest

When sending a manual email look and you wish to also communicate with Guest #1, select "Guest List" from the TO: or CC: dropdown and select Guest Name 1.

When setting up a trigger, look for the "First Guest (Guest List)" option in the TO: or CC: fields.

Note: It is only possible to send communications through Lodgix to the first guest on the guest list.
