Last minute discounts can be configured to apply automatically during the booking process. These discounts will apply to reservations that start X number of days or less from the time of booking. For example, you can set a discount to take 15% off of any reservations starting within the next two weeks. These discounts are sent to all channels.

How Last Minute Discounts are Calculated
Every channel handles last minute discounts differently. Here is a breakdown of each channel, using the following as an example discount structure...
30% discount within 7 days of arrival
20% discount within 14 days of arrival
Lodgix Direct: The discount tier active on the arrival date applies to the whole booking, regardless of length of stay. So a 14-night stay booked 5 days out gets 30% off all 14 nights.
VRBO: A fixed number of discounted nights equal to the window. So a 14-night stay booked 5 days out gets 30% off the first 7 nights.
Airbnb: Dynamically prorated based on proximity to check in. A 14-night stay booked 5 days out gets 30% off the first 5 nights, and 20% off the remaining 9 nights.
