A fee can be items like cleaning fees, booking fees, hot tub fees, marketing fees, etc. Fees are added, edited or removed from properties from Settings > Deposit / Fees / Services / Taxes...

Click on the Fees Tab

  1. Click on the Fee Tab

  2. Click the +Add Fee button

Configure the Fee

  1. Name the fee.

  2. Describe the fee.

  3. Assign a value.

  4. Is the value a percentage or a fixed amount? ย

  5. If fixed, is it a one-time or a daily fee?

  6. Optionally add a date condition. This allows you to adjust the value of the fee after a certain date. For example, if your cleaning fee is increasing on January 1, 2027, you can charge the new amount for any reservations that start after that date, while continuing to charge the current amount for all other reservations.

  7. Optionally add a length of stay condition. This allows you to adjust the value of the fee after X nights. For example, if your cleaning fee increases for stays over 7 nights, you can add a condition to charge the higher rate after 7 nights.

  8. Mandatory, Optional, Pet Fee Trigger or Internal. Optional fees can be selected by the guest during the checkout process. Internal fees are not visible to the guest, but are available to be added to invoices. The pet fee trigger is explained in detail here.

  9. Group the fee into the correct category (cleaning fees cannot be set to nightly as most channels don't accept nightly cleaning fees)

  10. Choose if the fee is collected according to the collection rules setup under the Deposits tab, or if the fee is due at the time of booking.

  11. You can elect to pass the fee revenue on to the property owner and collect a commission as you do with rental income, or you can pass the fee revenue directly to the property owner in full without collecting any commission.

  12. If the fee is taxed make sure to choose which taxes are to be collected on the fee.

  13. Click OK to save

Add the Fee to Properties

  1. Select the fee

  2. Add or Remove from All properties or...

  3. Add to individual properties

  4. Download an Excel file that shows which fees are assigned to each property, so that you can review all fee assignments at a glance

The arrow shows how the table can be manipulated to show which properties the fee is assigned to (or not assigned).
