Account, devices, and notifications - Lodgix Admin App

How to manage your profile, devices, and notification settings

Written by Bobby Wiles

The Account page is your personal control center. To open it tap More → Account.

Account Details

1. Profile

Company logo, your name, email, Contact support button.

2. Company info

Company name, Subscriber ID (useful for support), website, phone, account type.

3. Devices

Every phone or tablet you're signed in on. Tap the three-dot menu on any device to:

  • Rename the device

  • Toggle Push Notifications on or off for that device

  • Remove the device (signs it out, stops notifications)

4. Settings

  • Disable notification warning — turns off the startup popup

  • Welcome message — re-opens the welcome carousel (Subscriber, Super User, Front Desk)

  • Open device settings — jumps to your device's setting app at Lodgix Admin

5. App information

App version, build number, last updated, support link. Reference these when contacting support.

To sign out: scroll to the bottom and tap Sign out. Signing out on this device doesn't affect your other devices.

Notifications

The app keeps you informed two ways: push notifications on your device's lock screen, and an in-app list.

In-app notification list

Open it: tap the bell icon at the top of the home screen, or More → Notifications.

  • Up to 100 most recent unread notifications

  • Subject and body preview, with relative timestamp

  • The list syncs across all your devices

Mark notifications read three ways:

  • Open one — tap to view full details

  • Swipe right-to-left and tap Read

  • Tap Mark all as read at the top

Setting up push notifications

1. Allow at the OS level

First install asks "Allow Lodgix Admin to send notifications?" Tap Allow. If you missed it:

  • iPhone / iPad: Settings → Lodgix Admin → Notifications → toggle Allow Notifications on

  • Android: Settings → Apps → Lodgix Admin → Notifications → toggle on

Shortcut: Account → Settings → Open Device Settings.

2. Confirm push for this device

Open Account → Devices. Find this device (Current chip). Tap the three-dot menu and confirm Push Notifications is on.

You can configure each device independently — on for your work phone, off on your personal tablet.

What triggers a notification

Depends on your Subscriber's setup, but typical use cases include:

  • New reservation created

  • Payment received

  • Inbox message received

  • Work order assigned to you

  • Cleaning task assigned to you

  • Damage notice filed

  • Owner statement published

Troubleshooting push

If you're not getting notifications:

  1. Account → Devices — push toggled on for this device?

  2. Account → Settings → Open Device Settings — OS-level notifications allowed?

  3. Internet connection working?

  4. Still nothing — remove the device, sign out, sign back in, accept the OS prompt again.
