Troubleshooting and common issues - Lodgix Admin App

Fixes for common app issues and how to contact Lodgix support

A short list of the problems we hear about most, the fix for each, and how to reach support if you need more help.

Can't sign in

  1. Try lodgix.com in a browser with the same credentials. If that fails, reset your password.

  2. If the web works but the app doesn't, delete and reinstall the app.

  3. Make sure you're on the latest app version.

  4. Check your internet connection.


Don't see a feature

Usually a role restriction. If your role should have the feature, your Subscriber may need to enable it at lodgix.com → Account Settings → Features.


Not getting push notifications

  1. Account → Devices — find this device, confirm Push Notifications is on.

  2. Account → Settings → Open Device Settings — OS-level notifications allowed?

  3. Check internet connection.

  4. Still nothing — remove the device from Devices, sign out, sign back in, accept the OS prompt again.


Stale data

Most lists support pull-to-refresh. Drag down from the top to reload. If that doesn't help, close and reopen the app. Last resort: sign out and back in.


Can't create a reservation or block

  • Your role may not have permission. If the + button is missing entirely, that's it.

  • If Continue is greyed out, a required field is empty — check guest, dates, and property.


Stripe / card payment issues

  • Confirm Stripe is connected at lodgix.com → Settings → Stripe.

  • Without Stripe, use Continue without credit card and charge from the web.

  • Declines come from Stripe; the error message tells you why. Common: wrong CVC, wrong ZIP, insufficient funds.


Camera not working for damage notices

  • iPhone: Settings → Lodgix Admin → Camera → On

  • Android: Settings → Apps → Lodgix Admin → Permissions → Camera → Allow

Shortcut: Account → Settings → Open Device Settings.


Checklist won't submit

Required items (asterisk or "Required") must be filled in. Scroll the checklist and look for any blank required item.


Inbox / Calendar / Housekeeper view is blank

  1. Check internet connection.

  2. Pull down to refresh.

  3. Close and reopen the app.

  4. Still blank — sign out and back in.


App is slow or crashing

  1. Close the app fully (swipe from app switcher) and reopen.

  2. Restart your device.

  3. Update the app from the store.

  4. If crashes persist, contact support with app version and build number from the Account page.

In-app chat (fastest)

Tap Account → Contact support. The Lodgix support chat opens inside the app. Attach screenshots to help us see what you're seeing.

What to include when you report a issue

  1. What were you trying to do?

  2. What did you tap, in what order?

  3. What did you see? (Screenshots are gold.)

  4. What did you expect to see?

  5. App version and build number

  6. Device model and OS version

  7. Does the same thing happen on another device or on lodgix.com?
