Short answer: no. Cancelling or deleting a reservation in Lodgix is permanent — there is no undo, "un-cancel", or restore button. This article explains what each action actually does, what information remains, and what to do if a reservation was cancelled or deleted by mistake.
What Happens When You Cancel a Reservation
The reservation's status becomes Cancelled and its dates are released on the calendar, so they become bookable again.
Any cancellation fee, refund, or guest credit you chose during cancellation is recorded on the invoice.
The cancelled reservation stays on the guest's profile (in their invoice list) for your accounting history — it is not erased.
The status cannot be switched back: editing the reservation or recording a payment will not make it active again.
What Happens When You Delete a Reservation
Deleting asks for your system password precisely because it is permanent.
The reservation is removed from your reservation lists and cannot be brought back from the interface.
If the reservation appears on a published owner statement, Lodgix will not let you delete it at all.
Tip: if you want to keep the record for bookkeeping, cancel instead of deleting. Delete is for reservations that should never have existed (test entries, duplicates).
Cancelled or Deleted by Mistake? Re-create the Reservation
Check the calendar first — cancelling released the dates, so confirm nobody else has booked them.
Open the cancelled reservation on the guest's profile to copy the details (dates, rate, notes).
Create a new reservation for the same guest and dates via Reservations > Create Reservation.
Review the cancelled invoice: if a cancellation fee, refund, or credit was recorded, adjust it so the guest's balance is correct.
Tip: The History tab of the guest control panel will contain a PDF of the invoice as it existed at the time of cancellation.
If the reservation was deleted, it no longer appears on the guest's profile — re-create it from your own records, such as the confirmation email or the channel's reservation details.
Channel Bookings
A cancellation of a channel booking (for example Airbnb) is processed on the channel's side under the channel's own cancellation policy and cannot be reversed from Lodgix. Re-creating the booking in Lodgix does not restore it on the channel — the guest would need to book again on the channel.
