Create custom cancellation policies and assign them to your properties

Custom cancellation policies can be created within Lodigx. You can create multiple policies and assign them to the applicable properties.

Create a Template

Cancellation policy templates can be configured and assigned to properties from Settings > Policies and Amenities > Cancellation Policies...

  1. Select the template to manage

  2. Edit the template

  3. Delete the template

  4. Copy the template

  5. Add a new template

Policy Settings

From the Edit Cancellation Policy screen...

  1. Name the policy

  2. Describe the cancellation policy here

  3. Generate Description - This button will auto generate the description based on the Cancellation Fee and Refunds settings below. That option was used to generate the description in this example.

  4. Cancellation Fee - This amount is paid by the guest regardless of when the booking is cancelled.

  5. Refunds - The refund percentage based on how far in advance the guest cancels. In this example the guest would receive a 100% refund if cancelled 30 or more nights prior to arrival, a 50% refund if cancelled between 15 and 30 nights of arrival, and no refund if cancelled within 15 nights of arrival.

  6. Use this to create additional refund dates / percentages

  7. Save

Assign the Template to Your Properties

Click on the policy text to choose the cancellation policy for the property...

Update the Cancellation Policies for VRBO

The custom cancellation policies that you create in Lodgix can be applied to your VRBO listings from the VRBO integration screen. Click on the policy text to choose the correct cancellation policy for the property...
