Lodgix has integrated to eRentalLock to facilitate the dynamic generation of lock codes. The lock codes can be referenced in dynamic communications with your guests and staff.
Setup
Navigate to Properties > Door Locks...
Click the eRentalLock tab and login to your eRentalLock account...
eRentalLock Interface
Update your lock settings (see below for more info)
Update the password for eRentalLock
Disconnect your eRentalLock account from Lodgix
Add New Locks
eRentalLock Settings
Code Generation Timing: Choose how long prior to the guests arrival the door lock codes should be generated. If Never is selected, that would require manual code generation from within the guest control panel.
Check In / Check Out Offset Time: How long before and after the booking the code with work. For example a one hour offset would allow the guest to enter the property one hour prior to check in time and one hour after check out time.
Code Origin: Choose from 4 digit random number generation, or the last 4 digits of the guests phone number.
Adding a New Lock
To add a lock you will need to enter the eRentalLock Lock ID and assign it to a property in Lodgix...
The lock ID can be found in the eRentalLock management interface...
Invoice Lock Code Generation
Door Code field is located within the guest control panel, under the Details tab for each invoice. The code will be dynamically generated if you've set it to dynamically generate at X of days / weeks before arrival. Otherwise there will be a GENERATE link located here to manually generate the door code.
Door Lock Code Merge Tag
Insert the merge tag [DOOR_CODE] wherever you want to the code to appear in your email, pdf or trigger templates.
Door Code Log Report
The Door Code Log Report shows a running log of all door codes issued for each invoice.
