How to generate owner statements and 1099 reports

If using the Property Management module, Lodgix offers a variety of statements for owners, as well as the ability to upload documents to the owners account.

Owner Statements

Generate monthly statements for your owners showing the rental revenue, commissions, work orders/rental expenses and much more. The statements will calculate your commissions and the owners payout. Owner statements are reviewed in detail here.

1099 Reports

There is an option within the Owner Statement report that will allow a summary 1099 report to be generated.

  1. Choose the period.

  2. Select all owners (individual owners aren’t eligible as this is a summary report).

  3. Choose PDf or excel.

  4. Landscape or Portrait mode (landscape is best).

  5. Select IRS 1099

  6. Download

Depending on the number of properties and reservations, the report generation might take a few minutes.

Owner Documents

Owner statements generated from the application will show up in the owner account if the "save to owner account" option was selected at the time the statement was generated. Property managers may wish to store receipts / invoices in the owner account. Pretty much any type of file can be uploaded into the owner account allowing the owner to login and view those files at their leisure.

  1. Choose if you want to display signed rental agreements to the owner

  2. Choose a file to upload via the file upload icon.

  3. Choose a folder where the document should be stored (or create your own)
