Rental Agreements, Digital Signatures

Setup your rental agreements, assign them to properties, and collect digital signatures.

Lodgix provides several default templates, including a rental agreement. These can be customized to meet your specific needs. The templates can be accessed from Settings > Saved Replies & PDFs...

Setup Your Rental Agreement

  1. Click the Guest tab

  2. Select the Rental Agreement

  3. Edit the existing agreement OR

  4. Create a new Rental Agreement

Editing the Template

  1. Edit the content of the rental agreement using the visual editor

  2. Add merge tags to dynamically insert reservation specific data as necessary. View of list of merge tags by positioning your cursor anywhere in the editor and typing the @ sign

  3. Add columns or widgets to the layout as necessary

  4. Adjust your template settings, set as the default rental agreement, view a PDF, clone the template, and more

Assign Different Rental Agreements to Different Properties

You can create multiple rental agreements and assign them to different properties by clicking on the Rental Agreements Assignments tab under Settings > Rental Agreements > Assignments. Simply select the correct rental agreement from the dropdown for each property.

Require Digital Signatures

Lodgix offers a completely integrated, online, legally enforceable, document signing solution. You can require that your Rental Agreements be signed during the booking process, or send guests a link to sign them post booking.

Enable Digital Signatures

You can enable digital signatures for your account from Settings > Rental Agreements > Settings...

  1. Enable Digital Signatures for your account

  2. Display your rental agreement and require a digital signature at the time of booking. This applies to direct bookings only, not channel connected bookings.

  3. Make your rental agreements available, and allow them to be digitally signed, in the Staylio app.

  4. Set your notification preferences

What the Guest Sees When Booking Online

When making an online booking, the guest will be prompted to sign the rental agreement. Once it is signed and the booking is completed, a copy of the signed rental agreement will be emailed to the guest and saved within Lodgix.
