Housekeeper Overview - Lodgix Admin App

How Cleaning Staff find and work a cleaning task from start to finish.

If you sign in with a Cleaning Staff account, the app drops you straight into the housekeeper view — a focused screen built around today's cleanings.

Housekeeper Tasks

Three sections:

  • Today

  • Next Seven Days

  • Tasks In The Future (next 30 days)

For today tasks they are sorted:

  1. In Progress at the top

  2. Unstarted next, in date/time order

  3. Completed at the bottom

What's on a task card?

  • Property name, address (tap for Google Maps), and thumbnail

  • Today's guest and check-out time

  • Next guest and check-in time, party size

  • Status badge — Pending, In Progress, Completed

  • Cleaning type — Regular, Half, Owner Departure, or Out of Service

Housekeeper Workflow

1. Open the task

Tap the property from your Today list. Pull down to refresh if a task you expected is missing.

2. Read the details

  • Address — tap to navigate

  • Today's guest and next guest info

  • Instructions — anything property-specific

  • Guest Services — extras the next guest paid for

3. Start

Tap Start at the top. Status changes to In Progress with a timestamp. Your manager sees the property change color on the Calendar overlay.

4. Complete the checklist (if attached)

Open the Checklist section and work top to bottom. Some items need a note, photo, yes/no, or count. Required items must be filled in. See Damage notices and checklists.

5. File a damage notice if needed

Scroll to the Damage Notice section. Photos with captions are best. Damage notices can only be created while a task is In Progress. See Damage notices and checklists.

6. Complete the task

Make sure the required checklist is 100% done. Tap Complete and confirm. The task moves to Completed and the property turns clean on the manager's overlay.
