General overview of the Staylio guest app and how it is accessed.

The Staylio guest app is included with all Lodgix.com subscriptions. Staylio is available on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

Guests can access many aspects of their reservation, including viewing arrival and departure details, chatting with the host, signing and viewing rental agreements, and much more, all from a single dashboard.

Staylio App Settings

Under "Settings" -> "Staylio App", there are a couple of settings available to customize what your guests are able to view and access within Staylio. Currently, there are three settings:

  1. Allow guest to leave reviews.

  2. Allow guest to sign and review rental agreements

  3. Allow guest to view rental agreements

Note: The second setting is only available if Digital Signatures are enabled in your Lodgix account. The third setting is only available if guests are not allowed to sign and review rental agreements in the app.

Post-Online Booking

When guests make an online booking, they will be presented with a QR code and App Store links to the Staylio guest app. The QR code contains a magic link that allows the guest to scan it and then directs them to the App Store to download the app. Once the app is downloaded, it will automatically sign the guest into the app; there is no need to sign in manually.

Optionally, this feature can be disabled for online bookings by deselecting "Market guest app availability during the online booking process? (direct bookings only)" in the Online Booking Page Editor in Lodgix.
