Sending a Housekeeper Trigger Email When a Property is Dirty
There is a condition for "Clean Status", "Equal to", "Dirty"
When this condition is met, the action portion of the trigger would look like this:
This will allow a trigger to email or text a housekeeper if a property is dirty and there is an upcoming reservation. The "Cleaner" can be set as "To" or "Cc".
SENDING A EMAIL OR SMS TO A "CLEANER" WILL ONLY WORK WHEN THE "CLEAN STATUS" CONDITION IS USED.
The system will send a message to the assigned housekeeper for the property. If there are several properties in the invoice and some of them are clean and others are dirty, messages will be sent only to the housekeepers assigned to the dirty properties.
Housekeepers assigned to the clean properties will not receive a message. Separate message is sent for each dirty property in the invoice.
WHAT IS THE CATALYST FOR THE FIRING OF THE TRIGGER?
My guess is that if the trigger is setup, when a property changes from occupied to dirty, then the trigger wil fire?
However, if that is the case, then it would seem like the condition should be "changed to" dirty, rather than "equal to" dirty?
The merge tags [PGUESTS_TOTAL] and [P_HOUSEKEEPING_INSTRUCTIONS] will display only the information related to the property.
WHERE DOES (P_HOUSEKEEPING_INSTRUCTIONS) GET IT'S DATA?
CLEANER SHOULD BE RENAMED HOUSEKEEPER.
Sending a Trigger Email on a Predefined Day of the Month
- Set the condition to "Today's Date..", "Equal to", and then choose whether you want the action (email) to occur twice a month or four times a month.
1. Send an email to an employee (select employee name from dropdown) and attach a 1 month PDF calendar (options for 1 week and 2 weeks as well). Fill in the email subject and the email body and SAVE the trigger!
The PDF version of the calendar (same calendar can be shown under Calendar Tape > Print Calendar), will show booked dates with a key showing the name of the guest with check-in and check-out times.
